How exactly does one save the individual tiff files after they have been aligned? I've heard great things about the align_image_stack function in hugin, so have been interested in trying that out. Photomatix manages to do a decent job on some images, but in cases where I end up resizing the images and then placing it in photomatix, it nearly always ends up having issues with alignment.
